Selcuk Bakir is an Area Superintendent and educational leader committed to expanding student opportunities and fostering vibrant learning environments. With a passion for school improvement, leadership development, and student success, he works closely with educators, students, and communities to support meaningful educational growth.

Selcuk is also a husband and father of two. His son, Murat, is a 9th grader, and his daughter, Betul, is an 8th grader. His wife is also an educator, and together they share a strong commitment to education and lifelong learning. Their family also includes their cat, Chewy, who has become a beloved part of their daily life.
